LITTER
Method 1. Pour Oz-Pet Animal Litter
into a clean, empty litter tray to a depth of 25mm
(2.5cm). Scoop out solids daily. Replace as required. As
Oz-Pet Animal Litter absorbs odour causing liquids it
will increase in depth.
Method 2. Professional catteries
and kennels use only a small amount of Oz-Pet Animal
Litter in each tray. Only cover about 2/3 of the bottom
of the litter tray to 1 layer thick. Replace
daily
Most cats love Oz-Pet Animal
Litter, however, cats are naturally suspicious and in
some cases may not accept changes in their litter
immediately. In these cases we recommend adding 5mm of
your previous litter on top of Oz-Pet Animal Litter for a
short period until your cat adapts to the
change.
To Clump or Not to
Clump
"Clumping clay kitty litters may be
related to a wide variety of seemingly unrelated cat
health problems, included diarrhea, frothy yellow
vomiting, mega-bowel syndrome, irritable bowel syndrome,
kidney problems, respiratory problems, general failure to
thrive, anemia, lethargy, and even death. For more
information, read this article and see the related pages
listed at the end of this article."
